Since the Meyer family left in March, the team on-site in Haiti has continued the projects with exemplary determination and dedication. Every Tuesday, we meet on Zoom for our weekly appointment. These essential meetings allow us to spend time in worship, Bible reading, task distribution, and planning.

Every Thursday, 12 families gather at Espérance. Samuel, our cook who also studies theology, leads a Bible session, while Wanguerre welcomes the families and leads a time of worship. Jovanie and Béatrice prepare breakfast and lunch, and Cherlin restocks the depot so that the families can return home with a bag of food. Our team has continued to support the various projects at the Hope Community Center and Kainos, where we have been able to keep welcoming guests through these times of crisis.

Despite the distance and thanks to everyone’s commitment, we have been able to maintain a spirit of community and a good work dynamic.
